Tip Every Wednesday, free outdoor movies screen under the 163m LED canopy in a 4,000-seat riverside amphitheater. In April, cherry blossoms frame the canal behind the building.

A 45-year-old wire factory reborn. Walk the bamboo trail, browse world-class contemporary art, drink excellent specialty coffee in industrial-chic space.
Tip The Dalbit Garden (달빛정원 — Moonlight Garden) hidden behind the main complex is where Busan locals take actual dates. Tourists almost never find it.

Gijang-gun
108 stone steps through pine forest. A 650-year-old temple clings to cliffs above crashing waves. Write a wish together on gold leaf for ₩1,000. At dawn, it's extraordinary.
Tip After the temple, walk the coastal path north for 500m toward the National Fisheries Science Museum — hundreds of tiny stone figures face the sea. Eerily beautiful, always empty.

Jung-gu
Pick your fish live from the tanks. Negotiate with the ajummas. Eat it upstairs with soju and a harbor view. Korea's most charismatic date restaurant.
Tip Walk the entire ground floor together before buying — compare prices and pick a vendor who shows you exactly what you're getting. After eating, take the elevator to the free 7th-floor harbor observation deck.

Jung-gu
60+ years of Busan street food in one narrow alley. Stools, soju, strangers. At 7:30 PM, the Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market fires up next door with a completely different energy.
Tip Start at BIFF Square (2 min walk) for seed hotteok (씨앗호떡) from the stall with the longest line. After the night market, take the 87m escalator up to Yongdusan Park for city views.

Suyeong-gu
The Gwangan Bridge framed in a wall of glass. Craft beer, live acoustic sets, a crowd of locals who all look like they're on dates. Because they are.
Tip Sit in the upper rows of the Busking Square tiered seating at the back of the building — the best Gwangan Bridge photo angle through the glass wall. After, walk 5 min to Millak Waterside Park for mats and soju under the bridge.

Haeundae-gu
A forested island connected to Haeundae Beach by a land bridge. World leaders held the 2005 APEC summit in its modernist crown. In winter, red camellias blanket every path.
Tip Walk the island trail clockwise (turn right from the Haeundae side) — hit the quiet southern viewpoints first, then approach Nurimaru from the sea path with Gwangan Bridge behind you.

Yeongdo-gu
Busan's Santorini. A Korean War refugee village reborn with murals, ocean-view cafés, and a carved rock tunnel. The 2.2km coastal walk below is even more beautiful than the murals above.
Tip Start from the top and walk downhill through the murals to the Piano Stairs. Then descend to the carved coastal tunnel. Weekday mornings before 10 AM are blissfully crowd-free.

Dongnae-gu
Asia's largest hot spring complex. 40+ themed baths fed by natural 45–56°C water. Soak separately, reunite in the themed sauna rooms, float out reborn together.
Tip Bathe separately for 1–2 hours across 40+ pools, then reunite in the co-ed jjimjilbang sauna rooms. End with German beer at Hurshimchung Bräu on the 1st floor.

Gijang-gun
Award-winning architecture cantilevered over crashing waves. Every seat faces open ocean. One drink minimum. Two hours minimum. Zero reasons to rush.
Tip The 3rd and 4th floors are adults-only (no children) — where the best window seats are. The private annex bungalow has semi-private ocean-view rooms locals know about.

Geumjeong-gu
1,350 years of Zen on Mount Geumjeongsan. Walk the ancient forest path together, meditate in silence, share a vegetarian meal. The Templestay books weeks out — plan ahead.
